Scholarship Process
Eligibility The Dream Run Scholarship Committee is offering scholarships to deserving high school seniors in the Central Valley. Students planning to attend four- year, two - year, colleges, vocational, or technical schools should apply. The applicants must be graduating seniors attending a high school in the Central Valley.
In evaluating applications, the scholarship Committee will consider grade point average, school/community service and potential to succeed.
Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 (we need an official copy of your transcripts for verification).
- One letter of reference from a person not related to you, whom you have known at least one year.
- Completed application. (Please answer all of the questions on the application)
- Essay.
Topic: Choose a person you admire and/or respect and explain why. Tell us about specific qualities or characteristics that person possesses (loyalty, honesty, hard worker, etc.). You can list more than one. Explain why you admire / respect that person and why you value the characteristics they possess.
Specifications:
No more than two pages.
Between 250-500 words typed, double spaced and spell checked.
Please address the complete essay topic.

The due date for the application is April 17, 2010 (we will only accept applications postmarked on or before that day).
